Description
abm | GFP-Tagged Tctex-type 3 Stable Expressing HeLa Cell Line | T6341
Dynein is a group of motor proteins in the cytoskeleton. TcTex is a component of the dynein 1 protein complex that helps dynein to link to cargo and helps the protein function to transport vesicles and organelles along the cytoskeleton. Correct separation of chromosomes during mitosis is mediated by kinetochores and components of the cytoskeleton and this process employs many interacting protein complexes. The GFP-Tagged Tctex-type 3 Stable Expressing HeLa Cell Line has previously been used in studies to investigate kinetochores movement during mitosis and the function of various proteins involved in this process.
High magnifications (400-1000x) are required to observe the GFP-tagged fusion due to the intracellular localization of specific subcellular structures.
