Description
abm | c-Kit-Y703F Stable Ba-F3 Cell Line | T3046
c-Kit or stem cell factor (SCF) receptor is a type III tyrosine kinase receptor that has a major role in the hematopoietic system and has nine key tyrosine residues. Y703 residue of the c-Kit receptor is involved in recruiting signaling molecules. c-Kit/Y703F-expressing Ba/F3 cells (with GNNK- isoform) has a Y-to-F mutation at position 703. The GNNK- isoform is the outcome of the c-Kit gene alternative splicing sites, resulting in different isoforms of the tetrapeptide GNNK, and is the main transcript found in human malignancies. Together with the wild-type c-Kit stable Ba/F3 cells (
