Description
abm | HlPrx Stable BHK-21 Cell Line | T6458
HlPrx Stable BHK-21 Cell Line are developed to stably express Haemaphysalis longicornis derived 1-Cys peroxiredoxin (HlPrx) through transfection with pmirGLO vector with the HlActin promoter. Monoclonal selection was conducted with the presence of G418. H2O2-scavenging enzymes, Prxs, are important in ticks’ oxidative stress coping mechanism, and have been characterized in tick biology and in relationship to tick pathogens. Thus this cell line may be used to study Prx and its role in tick-host-pathogen interactions.
