Description
abm | hPSEN1WT<-sup> Stably Expressing MEF Psen1-2---<-sup> Cell Line | T6439
MEF Psen1/2-/- cells were derived from E8.5 embryos which are neomycin and hygromycin-resistant, and were immortalized with SV40 large T antigen via transfection with the pMSSVLT plasmid. Human PSEN1 expression was established through retroviral transduction with pMSCV puro hPSEN1WT plasmid, and stable expression was determined via puromycin selection. PSEN1 (Presenilin 1) is a gene of interest in neuropathology, and diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) in which patients with an inherited form of the disease carry mutations. abm offers a panel of Stable MEF expressing human PSEN1 wildtype and various human PSEN1 mutants for research.
