Description
abm | N1G4-Citrine Stable Expressing CHO-K1 Cell Line | T6163
N1G4-Citrine Stable Expressing CHO-K1 Cell Line was transformed to express the Notch receptor. Notch signalling is a highly conserved pathway, which is used extensively in cell communication to coordinate differentiation and form boundaries between groups of cells. Notch receptors interact with Delta-Serrate-Lag2 ligands at the junctions between cells. The N1G4-Citrine Stable Expressing CHO-K1 Cell Line expresses the Notch 1 receptor labelled with a citrine reporter protein. Furthermore, the fusion construct of Notch 1 expressed in this cell line was designed for specific binding to the Dll1 ligand to avoid endogenous targets of Notch1 when tracking intracellular activity. This cell line was previously used to study how contact geometry affects signally and would be ideal for further research into cell differentiation and communication.
