Description
abm | NTCP Stable HepG2 Cell Line | T6190
NTCP Stable HepG2 Cell Line was generated by infecting HepG2 cells with the lentivirus NT-GFP (pLVX-IRES-ZsGreen), in which GFP-expressing cells were enriched with FACS. NTCP (sodium taurocholate cotransporting polypeptide) is HBV receptor, making this cell line permissive to HBV. This cell line may be used to study HBV or the life cycle of hepatitis B, C and D viruses which utilizes NTCP for host entry.
