General Information: Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is a peroxidase enzyme (EC 1.11.1.7) most abundantly present in neutrophil granulocytes. The 150-kDa MPO is a dimer consisting of two 15-kDa light chains and two variable-weight glycosylated heavy chains bound to a prosthetic heme group. As a result, MPO and its downstream inflammatory pathways represent attractive targets for both prognostic and therapeutic intervention in the prophylaxis of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Recomendation: Capture-Clone2;detection-Clone1 or Capture-Clone3;detection-Clone1
Product Buffer: 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, 0.1% Proclin 300,pH7.4
Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage: Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃ upon receiving. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage.
Specificity: Recognizes native MPO
