Description
Iron oxide particles | 45-00-252
Iron oxide particles are available with hydrodynamic diameters of 50 nm and 250 nm.
The surface of the 50 nm particles is colloidally stabilized with carboxylic acid groups. The particles show almost no tendency to sediment and cannot be separated on conventional permanent magnets. These iron oxide particles are also available with a phospholipid surface and a hydrodynamic diameter of 70 nm. High gradient magnet systems are recommended for magnet separation.
The 250 nm iron oxide particles consist of monodisperse magnetite aggregates and can be easily separated with permanent magnets. They have a low sedimentation tendency and are also available with gold labelling.
