Magnetic nanoparticles with "nanoflower" structure (synomag®)
- Are multi-core particles composed of maghemite crystals,
- Show excellent properties as a tracer for Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) and are suitable for hyperthermia applications,
- Are available with hydrodynamic particle diameters of 30 nm and 50 nm,
- Cannot be separated with conventional permanent magnets, but only in a high gradient magnetic field,
- Are offered with COOH groups on the surface for improved uptake into cells.
