Description
GST Recombinant Protein | P2224
Description:
GST (glutathione S-transferase) is a 26 KDa protein encoded by the parasitic helminth Schistosoma japonicum and widely used in GST plasmid expression vectors, including pGEX family. This DNA sequence integrated into expression vectors is used for production of recombinant proteins.
Storage conditions:
Store at -80 C for long-term storage.
Host:
schistosoma japonicum
Protein Type:
Recombinant
Applications:
SDS-PAGE
Purity:
>95% by SDS-PAGE
Concentration:
1 mg/ml
Buffer:
Phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7.4); no azide no glycerol
Form:
Recombinant GST protein supplied as a 100, 200 or 500 µl (1 mg/ml) aliquot in phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7.4). This protein was affinity purified E. coli transformed with pGEX expression vector by conventional chromatography techniques (glutathione agarose).
