Description
Tribo™ Mouse IL-1β ELISA Kit | TBS3030
Interleukin-1β (IL-1β) is a multifunctional proinflammatory cytokine produced mainly by caspase-1 activation and plays a central role in the production of a variety of pathological conditions including inflammatory responses, sepsis, rheumatoid arthritis, allergy, trauma, pain, neurodegenerative diseases and other autoimmune diseases.
The Tribo™ Mouse IL-1β ELISA Kit is designed to measure mouse IL-1β levels in different tissue samples including skin, muscle, neural, serum, and other biological samples. The plate is coated with murine IL-1β monoclonal antibody. The IL-1β in samples or standard solutions can be captured. The following components can then be added sequentially, a biotin-conjugated anti-murine IL-1β antibody, streptavidin-horseradish peroxidase (HRP), and substrate. The positive samples turn a blue color in which the intensity reflects the amount of IL-1β in the initial samples. The reaction is terminated by adding stop solution, and absorbance is measured at 450nm. The concentration of IL-1β in the samples is calculated according to the standard curve.
Kit Size:
1x 96-well plate (8×12 strip well).
Applications:
Determining the IL-1β concentrations in different mouse tissues.
Key Features:
- Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of mouse IL-1β is less than 8.0 pg/mL typically.
- Specificity: This assay recognizes recombinant and natural mouse IL-1β. No cross-reactivity with any of other cytokine is observed.
