Description
abm | c-Kit N705A-N938A Stable Ba-F3 Cell Line | T3051
c-Kit or stem cell factor (SCF) receptor is a type III tyrosine kinase receptor that has a major role in the hematopoietic system and has nine key tyrosine residues. c-Kit N705A/N938A-expressing Ba/F3 cells (with GNNK- isoform) has a N-to-A mutation at position 705 and 938, which results in reduced Cbl phosphorylation but, both mutations do not affect the activation of Src family kinases. The GNNK- isoform is the outcome of the c-Kit gene alternative splicing sites, resulting in different isoforms of the the tetrapeptide GNNK, and is the main transcript found in human malignancies. Together with the wild-type c-Kit stable Ba/F3 cells (
