Description
abm | Stable HepG2 Expressing Murine ADH1 (VA-13) Cell Line | T3195
Stable HepG2 Expressing Murine ADH1 (VA-13) Cell Line is recommended for use to study the production of acetaldehyde and its effects in dysfunctions in alcoholic liver disease. The cell line expresses mouse ADH1 (Class 1 Alcohol Dehydrogenase) which oxidizes allyl alcohol to produce toxic acetaldehyde. The Va-13 cells may use used to investigate ethanol metabolism.
