Description
anti-CD64 | 216-020
Human CD64 is a high affinity receptor for monomeric human IgG1 and IgG3 which is expressed on macrophages, monocytes, and gamma interferon induced neutrophils. CD64 plays an important role in clearance of immune complexes and in antibody dependent cytoxicity (3, 4, 5).
Isotype: Murine IgG1
Immunogen: Human rheumatoid synovial fluid cells/monocytes
Specificity: Antibody 10.1 recognizes the EC3 epitope(7) of the CD64 molecule of 72 kd from gene Fc gamma RIA (1, 3). It is cross reactive with cynomolgus monkey CD64 (8).
Functional Application: Antibody 10.1 blocks binding of Fc gamma RI to immunoglobin opsonized cells (1, 9). Incubation with anti-CD64 F(ab’)2 inhibits Fibrocyte differentiation(10).
