Description
Nanomag® silica | 13-51-252
Magnetic silicate-reinforced dextran nanoparticles (nanomag®-silica)
- Are produced using the core-shell method with a magnetite core and a dextran shell with simultaneous cross-linking of the dextran shell by silicate nanostructures,
- Have a diameter of 250 nm and a magnetite content of 75-80%,
- Can be separated with conventional permanent magnets,
are available with the surface groups OH (plain), NH2 and COOH for the covalent binding of proteins, antibodies and other molecules, - Are also available with a hydrophobic octadecyl surface (C18), for example for nucleic acid separation.
