How To Use Indole-3-Acetic Acid (IAA) Powder
Follow the given steps to prepare 1L tissue culture media using PCT’s IAA Powder:
- Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCT’s MS, DKW, or any other alternative media.
- Add sugar based on the quantity of media you’re making (generally, 30 grams of sugar is added for 1-liter media), 1 ml/L PPM, and 3-4 grams per liter of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per liter of agar.
- Then, add the desired quantity of the plant hormone from the prepared PGR’s stock solution.
- Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121℃.
