Background:

6-X-FAM connect an amino acetyl group in FAM (referred to as the "X"). The join of "X" group increases the space of the fluorescent compounds with biological molecules, which to a certain extent, reduce the fluorescence quenching of the groups. In the process of preparation of fluorescein protein, if the dye used has serious fluorescence quenching, we recommend using the fluorescein derivatives.
