Biotin-X, SE activates the carboxylic acid group of Biotin, which promotes the coupling reactions. Mainly used to connect biotin and primary amine under alkaline conditions (pH =8 ~ 9) , such as lysine on protein surfaces. Antibodies are ideal targets for such markers.
