The base medium for this cell line is DMEM and F-10 (Gibco, 1:1). and 10 mg/ml insulin (Sigma). To make make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 5%, Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution to a final concentration of 1%, estradiol 17β (Sigma) to a final concentration of 10^-7, insulin (Sigma) to a final concentration of 10 mg/mL, fungizone to a final concentration of 0.5 µg/mL.
