The HA-SirT3 Stable 293 T-REx Cell Line was generated by transfection of pcDNA4/TO SirT3-HA into 293F TREX cells and selected for resistance. SirT3 levels have been shown to correlate with extended life span, to localize to the mitochondria, and to be highly expressed in brown adipose tissue. This makes the HA-SirT3 Stable 293 T-REx Cell Line useful for studying processes of aging, metabolism and mitochondrial biogenesis.
