APPLICATION: Use as an antigen to stimulate T-cells for T-cell proliferation assays and as an ELISA antigen for assaying antibodies to type II collagen.
NOTE: For assaying antibodies that react to native type II collagen using this peptide fragment, renature this peptide by stepwise cooling according to the method described by Igarashi et al
(1) and Terato et al (2).
QUANTITY: 0.5 mg
FORM: Lyophilized powder
SOURCE: Bovine Type II Collagen
MOLECULAR WEIGHT: Approximately 33 kDa (346 amino acid residues) (3)
PURITY: >95% by 10% SDS-PAGE
STORAGE: 4°C in the dark for lyophilized form and -20°C for solution form. This product is stable for 2
years as supplied. Peptide fragments will gradually degrade under neutral conditions.
