10x Plate Wash Buffer
- 125 mL
ELISA Wash Buffer is a phosphate buffered saline (PBS) based wash buffer for use in ELISA procedures. The buffer is supplied at a 10X concentration and is the same formulation that is supplied with ZeptoMetrix Corporation ELISA Kits. The 10X concentrated stock solution is easily diluted 1:10 (vol:vol) in distilled or deionized water to yield sufficient wash buffer for a typical 96-well microplate ELISA protocol.
Supplement an existing ELISA Kit or use as a convenient general purpose wash buffer for customized ELISA methods.
1 bottle of 125 mL (makes 1.25L of 1X buffer).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. In a clean glass or plastic container, dilute the ELISA Wash Buffer concentrate 1:10 (vol:vol) with distilled or deionized water. Mix thoroughly.
2. Use at each ELISA wash step for a total of 3-6 washes. Fill each microplate well with 300-350μL of diluted wash buffer taking care not to submerge the plate as this can cross-contaminate the wells. The buffer may be dispensed manually or by an automated system.
3. Between washes, aspirate or dump the buffer. After the final wash blot the plate on paper towels to remove any excess liquid.
Store at 2 to 30ºC
10X concentrated contains 1% 2-chloroacetamide as a preservative.
Use prior to expiration date.
Use diluted 1X ELISA wash buffer within one week.
Avoid storing wash buffer in automated systems. Automated plate washers must be rinsed with deionized water after use.
