Description

Fluorescent silicate particles (sicastar®-F)

Are produced by hydrolysis of ortho-silicates and corresponding compounds,
Contain a large amount of covalently bound fluorescent dyes in the silicate matrix and are very stable in organic media and aqueous buffers (The covalently bound fluorescent dyes do not show any toxic effects.),
Are available with red fluorescence (sicastar®-redF, excitation: 569 nm, emission: 585 nm), green fluorescence (sicastar®-greenF, excitation: 485 nm, emission: 510 nm) and blue fluorescence (sicastar®-blueF, excitation : 354 nm, emission: 450 nm).
