Directions per Liter (Broth): Mix 1.92 grams of drop-out mix with 6.7g MBS653287 Yeast Nitrogen Base w/o AA, Carbohydrate & w/ AS per liter of ddH2O. Adjust to desired pH. Sterilize with 0.2 um membrane filter. Aliquot into sterile containers.
Directions per Liter (Plates): Mix 1.92 grams of drop-out mix with 43.7 g MBS653105 Drop-out Base (w/o aa) With Glucose and Agar per liter of ddH2O. Mix thoroughly. Heat with frequent agitation and boil for 1 minute to completely dissolve the powder. Dispense into appropriate containers, loosen caps and autoclave for 15 minutes at 121°C (15 psi).

Preparation and Storage: Store powdered media at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time.
Other Notes: Small volumes of Drop-out Mix Synthetic Minus Uracil w/o Yeast Nitrogen Base culture media vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
