The VIRType SARS-CoV-2 (A570D) kit provides all reagents for the rapid detection of the United Kingdom (UK) lineage B.1.1.7 on environmental surfaces as well as wastewater via RT-qPCR. Single point mutation referring to the A->D amino acid exchange specific for the UK variant is detected in the FAMTM, whilst respective wild type S-gene region is detected in the HEXTM channel.For Research Use Only!.
