DBCO
micromer® particles with a DBCO-(dibenzocyclooctyne)-functionalized surface are available in sizes of 10 and 20 µm and are suitable for copper-free alkyne-azide cycloaddition under physiological conditions due to the ring strain of the cyclic alkyne. In this way, azide-modified biomolecules can be efficiently bound and separated under mild centrifugation conditions. The particles are supplied as a suspension in water without the addition of detergents.
