To generate the COX10 Stable Knockout Mouse Fibroblast Cell Line, a primary skin fibroblast culture was established from a knockin mouse homozygous for the floxed COX10 (exon 6). Cells were immortalized by retroviral infection of E6-E7 type 16 papiloma virus carrying G418 resistance. To generate COX10 knock-out, immortalized cells were transfected with plasmid expressing Cre recombinase and clones were obtained after hygromycin selection.
