From fresh human plasma that has tested negative for Hepatitis C, HIV-I and HIV-II antibodies as well as Hepatitis surface antigens.

Purification
After series of ultracentrifugations, Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) is isolated from human plasma and modified with MDA.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20°C for long-term and short-term storage. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Small volumes of Malondialdehyde modified Human LDL (MDA - LDL) protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage.
